Abstract

"The object of this article is to bespeak the serious attention of students of religions — not excluding students of the very nature of religion itself — for what looks like an event of the greatest im portance in world-history. Is it possible that what is now happening among the 160 millions constituting the hundred or more races of the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics is the establishment of what is, substantially, a new world-religion unconnected, as it seems, with the various mysticisms which masked the Russia of the nineteenth century? " - p.169.
