Abstract

A letter to the Editor of The Daily Mail: "Sir, - You have more than once referred in your columns the importance of not letting the question of reforming the Poor Law pass away from public attention. With every Cabinet the status quo has potent allies, and the existing Poor Law authorities are organising for its continuance." - introductory paragraph. Beatrice contines "that it has been decided to form a national committee to promote the break-up of the Poor Law on the lines of the Minority Report" and requests readers to contact her if they can help in various ways.
